Pricing & subscription
How much does Vowly Event cost?+
Premium costs €9.99 per month or €59.99 per year — the yearly plan saves you 50%. Both include everything: unlimited events and guests, all 25 themes, the full guest portal, team planning and the vendor marketplace.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial with full Premium access — no payment details needed to begin. We email you before the trial ends, so there are no surprises.
What happens when my trial ends?+
Your account and events stay safely in place. Premium features pause until you choose a plan — pick one whenever you're ready and everything continues where you left off.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?+
It depends on where you subscribed: on the web you manage your plan through the secure customer portal; on iPhone through your App Store subscriptions; on Android through Google Play. Cancelling stops renewal — your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
Do you offer refunds?+
You can cancel anytime and keep full access until the end of the paid period. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play follow Apple's and Google's own refund policies; for web purchases, contact us and we'll help.
Which payment methods do you accept?+
On the web we accept major credit and debit cards, processed securely by Stripe. On iPhone and Android, payment goes through your existing App Store or Google Play account.
Creating events
What kinds of events can I host?+
Weddings, engagements, birthdays, corporate events and parties. The creation wizard and the 25 invitation themes adapt to each occasion.
Is there a limit on guests or events?+
No fixed caps — from an intimate dinner to a wedding with hundreds of guests, and as many events as you're planning. Manage them all from one account.
Can I run several events at once?+
Yes. Each event has its own invitation, guest list, portal and statistics, and you switch between them with one tap.
How much can I customise the invitation?+
Choose one of 25 professionally designed themes, then make it yours: names, date, venue, welcome text and the portal sections you want guests to see.
Can I change details after sending the invitation?+
Yes — and this is the beauty of a live invitation page. Update the time, venue or schedule and every guest sees the latest version instantly. No reprints.
The guest experience
Do guests need to install an app?+
No. Guests open your link or scan the QR code and everything happens in the browser — on any phone, tablet or computer.
Can guests bring companions?+
Yes. When responding, guests indicate how many people they're bringing, so your headcount is always accurate.
How do dietary preferences work?+
Guests can add dietary needs and notes with their RSVP. You see them next to each guest — ready for the conversation with your caterer.
Can guests upload photos?+
Yes. Every event has a shared gallery where guests upload photos from their browser. You moderate what becomes visible, and the memories stay with your event.
What do guests see besides the invitation?+
As much as you choose to share: the schedule, a Q&A section, hotel recommendations, directions and parking, the photo gallery and a guest book.
Privacy & security
Where is my data stored?+
In the European Union — our infrastructure runs in Google Cloud's Frankfurt region with EU multi-region redundancy.
Is Vowly Event GDPR compliant?+
Yes. Vowly Event is operated by CKR Technology Group Ltd, a UK company, and built around UK and EU GDPR principles. The details are in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing pages.
How is my guest list protected?+
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is enforced by strict server-side rules: only you — and teammates you explicitly invite — can see your events.
Can I delete my account and data?+
Yes, directly in the app: Profile → delete account. This permanently removes your account, events, guest lists and photos. You can also email support@vowly.co and we'll take care of it.
Do you sell my data?+
Never. We don't sell, rent or trade personal data. We rely on a small set of trusted processors — such as Google Cloud for hosting and Stripe for payments — listed in our Data Processing page.
Apps & platforms
Which platforms does Vowly Event run on?+
Native apps for iPhone and Android, plus a full web dashboard at web.vowly.co. Everything stays in sync — start on your phone, continue in the browser.
Which languages are supported?+
English, German, French, Italian, Turkish, Spanish, Polish, Dutch and Portuguese — across the apps, the web dashboard and your guests' pages. Emails arrive in your language too.
Which browsers are supported?+
All modern browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and mobile. Guest pages are built mobile-first.
Does the web version have everything?+
Yes — the web dashboard mirrors the app: events, guests, invitations, the portal, team planning and your subscription.
How do I sign in?+
With your e-mail address, or with Apple or Google sign-in. The same account works everywhere — your subscription follows you across devices.
Vendors & partnerships
I'm a vendor — how do I join the marketplace?+
Download the Vowly Event Partners app, create your business profile and submit it for review. We approve every listing personally to keep quality high. Joining is currently free.
How do inquiries reach me?+
Couples and hosts send you a structured brief — date, guest count, budget range and style. You're notified by e-mail and reply in the app, where the whole conversation stays in one thread.
How does my profile rank in search?+
Mainly by responsiveness: vendors who reply quickly and reliably appear higher. Your response time and track record are visible on your profile — great service gets seen.
What can I showcase on my profile?+
Your portfolio, services, location and business details — plus live stats like response rate. You can send quotes and propose meeting times directly in the conversation.
