Permanently remove your Vowly Event account and all associated data — from the app, from the web, or by contacting our team.

Deleting your Vowly account

You can permanently delete your Vowly Event account and all of its associated data at any time — directly from the mobile app or from the web app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: once you confirm, your account and its content are removed from our systems and cannot be recovered.

Delete from the mobile app

If you have the Vowly Event app installed on your iPhone or Android device:

  • Open the Vowly Event app and sign in.
  • Go to the Profile tab.
  • Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete account”.
  • Confirm. Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted.

Delete from the web app

You can also delete your account from the web version at web.vowly.co — useful if you have already uninstalled the app:

  • Open web.vowly.co in your browser.
  • Sign in with the same account (email, Google, or Apple).
  • Open the Profile page.
  • Select “Delete account” and confirm.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes the following data from our servers:

  • Your account and profile (name, email address, and sign-in identity).
  • All events you created, along with their settings and details.
  • Your guest lists, invitations, and RSVP responses.
  • Photos and files you uploaded to your event galleries.
  • Planning data — seating, menu, music, budget, timeline, and tasks.
  • Team members and collaborators linked to your account.
  • Your app preferences and in-app activity.

Data retention

Your data is deleted immediately upon confirmation. Residual copies held in encrypted backups are purged on a rolling basis within 30 days. Where the law requires it, we may retain a minimal set of records (for example, transaction records related to a purchase) strictly for the period mandated by applicable regulations, after which they are permanently deleted.

About your subscription

Deleting your Vowly account does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, because those subscriptions are managed by the store rather than by Vowly.

If you have an active Premium subscription, cancel it separately in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings to avoid further charges.
